After reading both the novella and this book, I've discovered that this series might not be for me. Don't get me wrong. Like all books by this author the writing is lovely, the book is easy to read, the book has a very nice length to fit into busy days or to focus on when I'm tired. The focus in this series is just a little too much on physical love for my taste. That's okay. This author writes plenty of books fitting me a lot better, where the romance is a lot more about the emotional bond, where there are more in depth conversations, where characters take the time to get to know each other before taking the next step. However, if other series by this authors are not your thing because you're missing the more physical aspects of a relationship, you might wanna check this series out and you might discover it fits you better.

I really enjoyed this first book in Laura Greenwood's new series. At first I wasn't sure whether I wanted to try this series as I don't read a lot of books with mythology. I was afraid I might get confused as I didn't a lot about mythology, but in most cases there was enough info that I didn't feel like I was missing much due to my lack of knowledge, just a few side characters that were only briefly mentioned. I quickly got into this book and soon I was invested in the story and excited to see how the two main characters would get together. In this series gods and goddesses from religions all over the world exists and this book features a Celtic goddess and an Egyptian god. Just like other Laura Greenwood books this one was easy to read, had likable characters and a well written romance. Unlike most of Laura Greenwood's books I've read so far, this one had a bit of steam, which I thought worked well and fit the story here. I liked reading about Aine and Min as they meet while Aine is setting up a new dating agency. Min wants to help her out, but is also interested in connecting again and he's interested in more than only physical connection this time. I liked reading about these two characters and getting to know them. As well as seeing these two fall in love and their romance deepen as they spend time together. I also liked reading about Jinx, the dating agency Aine is starting and there's a bit about the god realm and the powers the gods and goddesses have. There are some interesting side characters as well and I look forward to future books in this series. To summarize: This is a great start to this series! It was a lot of fun to read with great characters and a well written romance. I normally don't read a lot of mythology based books, but I wanted to try this one as I like Laura Greenwood's books. My lack of knowledge of mythology wasn't a big issue luckily and I quickly got into this book. I liked reading about Aine and Min and seeing them grow closer and fall in love. This book has a bit of steam too, which I thought worked well. I liked reading about the characters and learning about the powers the gods and goddesses have as well as the god realm they can spend time in. I look forward to future books in this series.

Even love deities find falling in love complex who knew? I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Aine and Min two gods from different pantheons have know each other for a long time. They’ve flirted and more over the years but casual has become boring for both. This revelation leads Aine to go to the Council of Love Gods and ask for help to start an app/company that focuses on helping gods and paranormals find love. Little did she know it would lead to something special for herself.
This is a sweet with heat romance story. The world building is clever and the characters are mostly gods across many different pantheons so far. It’s lighthearted even with some steamy scenes. I really like the premise of an ancient deity starting an app. Really fun story!.

Aine has self-esteem issues for a goddess. Min works hard to convince her they are worth the risk. I enjoyed the revelations that came to Aine. I especially appreciated the pronunciation of her name given in the book. Celtic spellings vs pronunciation are difficult!

sweet story Love goddess finds love, one would think that it would be easy for a goddess of love to find her own love, but apparently not. The story is sweet with a happy ending

Cute short story. I've always been interested in Greek Mythology, it was interesting to bring the different myths together.

It's a little hard to believe. Gods have trouble falling in love too. Making the same kinds of mistakes as humans do. I enjoyed the story very much.

I did like this alittle. It seemed like some of the other stories I have read which are out in the reading world. It was interesting in some parts. I honestly felt like this needed more oomph in it, eg. more along the lines of a better description of how they met, fell in love & made their relationship better for both of themselves.... Sorry Laura I love the majority of your stories but not this one.... I will change my review based on the next book in the series. 20-02-2024 - Aine & Min Merged review: I did like this alittle. This couple felt romantic & they sounded like they are on their way to a loving relationship that will last for a lifetime. The story felt alittle off in my opinion. I don't know if it was because it was a short story or I just need to read the rest of the series which I am looking forward to.

Even a Love Goddess deserves some love Aine is a Celtic goddess of love, but she's never been able to find her own true love. After chatting with Eostre she calls a meeting of the Council of Love Gods & Goddesses (from round the world) to propose working together to set up a dating app to run events for deities and paranormals to find love (Jinx). Min is a Egyptian fertility god who's been interested in Aine for years. They've flirted in the past but never made anything more of what they feel for each other. He supports her idea and hopes working with her on the the app will be a way to spend more time with her and win her heart. A sweet romance story mixing gods and mythology from round the world. The god realm is fun to picture, a Greek temple next to a Chinese shrine and an Italian restaurant. The idea of ancient gods using apps in the modern world is also great. The story is lighthearted with plenty of humor (I particularly enjoyed the cheese & wine tasting), and there are some fun steamy scenes between the main characters. Aine and Min have crazy chemistry and until now they've been happy to be friends with benefits as they run into each other - being intentional about it is a big step. All while Aine is trying to launch her idea of a dating app for supernaturals - Jinx. Can she get the support she needs to make it work? And how doe she really feel about the guy? This is a crazy modern world full of an incredibly diverse group of gods and goddesses from pantheons all over the world and throughout time. It is kinda funny to see the juxtaposition of their immortality and talks of centuries old trysts against a backdrop fleeting dating games and young love. Interesting concept and fun introduction to a new series. Lots of fascinating characters to meet based on some of the gossip in this one! This is overall light and sweet, but there are a couple of spicier scenes than what I am used to in Laura's books. Tastefully done with the focus on the emotional connection rather than clinical anatomy.

Aine is a goddess of the Celtic pantheon and her purview is love, beauty, etc. Her friend Eostre complains to her that there isn’t anywhere for gods and supernaturals to hook up and that it would be easier to stick with those, because once a human finds out they run for the hills. So Aine calls for a meeting of all the love gods and goddesses of the different pantheons. She wants to start a business that does this named Jinx. There people could hook up on an app, meet for speed dating, cruises, etc. Min, an Egyptian god of lust, etc., has had a thing for Aine for quite some time and is always flirting with her, they had a fling a while ago. I found their interactions funny, sweet and steamy. Learning about all of the different pantheons and which would be interested, etc., was fascinating. I enjoyed the book and can’t wait to find out what happens next. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

A Love App for Supernaturals . . . This is the beginning of a new series entitled Jinx Paranormal Dating Agency. Aine is a Celtic love goddess who enjoys bringing couples together but is not sure whether she is capable of actually loving someone for herself. She is confident when thinking of romance for others, but can she figure this out if she wants a love of her own? She talks to the other love gods to get their ideas and opinions. And it turns out that an Egyptian god named Min would like to win her heart, but he will need to figure out how to go about convincing her that it’s real and can last, an actual commitment. Will both of them be willing to give love a chance? If successful, this could be a huge help and encouragement to Aine who is hoping to launch her supernatural dating app, Jinx. Will the other love gods and goddesses give her app a try?

Fabulous start to a new series. The characters were fresh and complex. Min and Aine were perfect for eachother, and yet contradictions to their very nature at the same time. As a Goddess of love & beauty, you would think Aine would find it difficult to avoid love, yet she struggles with accepting its very idea regarding her own person. Min's ties to fertility and sex have him questioning his ability to truly love another. These two and their complexities. It will be a wonder if they ever stumble upon the truth that is so obviously in front of them. This book weaves humor & sadness, doubt & determination, and fear & love into a heartwarming story of self discovery and growth. I look forward to the next book in the series. I received an ARC and voluntarily provided this review. I recommend this book without reservation and hope you enjoy it as much as I did. Happy Reading Y'all 📚

"Every god and goddess from around the world who had anything to do with love or pleasure had a seat in this room,..." Aine is a love goddess who feels like she isn't really doing anything these days. When an idea falls in to her lap, one for her and all her peers across the pantheons, she decides to run with it. Through Min we see a lot of the best things about love and relationships... even as he's trying to figure it all out for himself. This done in one story establishes an interesting world and sets up a fun series where Gods and paranormals are all searching for their happily ever after. I loved the flirting and friendship between these two, in part because they had a solid foundation for their relationship without even realizing it. I read Dating A Love Goddess in Kobo Plus and chose to share my thoughts..

Work with peers rather than against Relationships are messy, or at the very least, can be messy at times. A true friend will make sure you know that the not-so-good experiences aren’t worth the loss of seeking out good people for healthy relationships. Who will the next Jinx client couple be? We’ll just have to wait until after mid-December to find out in ‘Dating a Golden Goddess’.
I like how the author gathers all sorts of gods and paranormals for this project. Humans come in all shapes, colors, sizes, cultures, etc. and the joint pantheons should also reflect that.
And talk about supporting others!
‘[…] said that she didn't want to see everyone be alone even if that was the way she preferred it for herself.’

This is book 1 in Greenwood's Jinx Paranormal Dating Agency. First let me start by saying that Greenwood always delivers when going into anything paranormal. Second, I mean this title had me hooked - I love the idea of a dating agency for the paranormal. A wonderful, short, light romance read that is just the perfect afternoon escape. Main characters are Aine and Min who are both gods and have known and flirted with each other for awhile now. Ready for something more substantial, Aine seeks permission to start this app / agency to help others find a fulfilling love - only while she's thinking of others, this goddess of love is finding her own love story! This is a great beginning to a new series by Laura Greenwood “Jinx Paranormal Dating Agency Series.” Aine is a love goddess of the Celtic Pantheon, and she is able to help others find love, but she wonders if she can actually find love for herself. Min is the Egyptian god of lust and is very much interested in Aine and is always flirting with her. Aine has a dating app Jinx that she is working on, and she needs Min’s help. This is an entertaining read that is an easy, quick fast-paced, witty, great characters and a plot that is oh so good. Can Aine’s dating app Jinx help her and Min to find true love in each other? I received an ARC via Booksprout, and I am leaving my review voluntarily.

Always the bridesmaid, never the bride just might be our heroine's slogan, but our hero is determined to change that. It is time for her to understand the gift she gives to others. This is book one of the series, so all good there. The story is a paranormal romance with a dating agency as the driver. The story is well written and easy to read with a couple of fun characters as our leads. I rather enjoyed mixing the mythologies together and exploring the results. And the charming HEA doesn't hurt one bit. Overall, this story was rather light and entertaining, which was perfect for a relaxing read. I look forward to visiting again in the future. Highly recommended. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout for review purposes.

I really enjoyed watching Aine and Min build on their past experiences with each other. They have wonderful chemistry and their verbal back and forths were quite entertaining. How they communicated, especially when Aine was unsure about something gave me all the feels. This was a very good start to the series, dropping lots of names for possible main characters in the next part of the series. It will be fun to see who is next and how their love story unfolds. A new app for love… When a close friend despairs finding the love of her life, Aine decides to put her love goddess skills to work. She calls the new app Jinx. Now all she has to do is convince the other love gods and goddesses to get on board with the program. Too bad there isn’t an app that will work for her own love life. I wondered when there would be a story about how Jinx got started. Min and Aine have a good friends-with-benefits relationship and I enjoyed seeing where it went. I received an advance copy but my review is honest and voluntary.

Imagine a multiverse with gods and goddesses of all pantheons and other paranormals living together and trying to work for a common goal. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
The story begins with Aine, a Celtic ove goddess, meeting her best friend Eostre, a Germanic goddess, who is dreaming of a permanent love.
The idea of Jinx, a dating app for gods, goddesses and paranormals is born and Aina finds in the process her own forever love.
A light, fun story, fairly short, an easy read. Lovely.

Aine and Min are a great couple, lovely slow burn romance. Her idea for a dating app is good and tailoring it for paranormals, gods and goddesses is even better! As they mention it's better to be among your own sometimes. Meeting with other love/romance gods and goddesses is a great start and the launch party is a great hit! Along the way we are witness to the love goddess unsure of herself and Min the right man to boost her confidence. Great ending and looking forward to more Jinx adventures.

Great read!! Aine, a love Goddess, proposes to other Gods to collaborate and help those who seek love. Aine has a dating app, Jinx, in the works and needs a bit of help to bring it all together. Min wants to help her succeed, because deep down they both want to have a meaningful relationship. This is a great series starter. Steamy romance a long time in the making. Intriguing story that shares the struggles of finding the HEA!. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Aine is a Celtic love Goddess who comes up with the idea of a dating app called Jinx that will help Gods, Goddesses and other paranormals hopefully meet their matches. Min is a God who makes it clear that he wants to be with Aine. I loved how the story was written. It was funny, steamy and the banter between Aine and Min flowed very well. Overall, I would definitely recommend this book to others who enjoy books about paranormal romance. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This is a great story. I am looking forward to reading more in this series. I love reading anything by Laura Greenwood. I love reading about the start up of the Jinx Paranormal Dating Agency. Aine is one of the goddess of love and wants to do something different. She wants to put all the different events where paranormals or gods mingle looking for love. Min is a god of pleasure. They have been circling around each other for a long time. Will this be the time that they can make a relationship work? I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Ms. Greenwood gave us a real treat in this book. I love the mythological aspect but have we ever read anything that the Gods were looking for real love connections?! Never!! It's a short, spicy and sassy read, great for a lunchbreak away from the office lol! I can't wait to see what Ms. Greenwood comes up for the rest of the series! Aine is a love goddess and would like to find love for herself. She comes up with an idea to have all the gods and goddesses of love the world over start a dating service for themselves. Now she just has to get them to agree. The only downside is Min. He knows he would like something more for him with Aine but will he be able to convince her? Aine has called all of the other love Gods to a meeting to discuss working together to not only find other people a love life but also the love Gods themselves because with their jobs they somehow can't figure out how to find love themselves and to Aine immense pleasure they agree that it should be tried and they form Jinx a matchmaking app for the love gods and goddesses.
