Honor continues to tease the release of the Honor Power on social media. While the company is remaining rather coy about what it has planned for its new product segment, a reliable leaker has provided a few insights into how the Honor Power will shape up when it lands on April 15.
Android Smartphone Leaks / Rumors
Honor has shared another teaser relating to its next smartphone release. For context, the company is tipped to soon introduce a successor to last year's Honor GT called the Honor GT Pro with a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. However, it is currently unclear when the GT Pro will become official.
In the meantime, Honor has confirmed that it will unveil an entirely new product line dubbed 'Honor Power' on April 15. As the teaser below makes clear, the first Honor Power will debut at 19:30 China Standard Time (CST), or 11:30 UTC. Unfortunately, it remains to be seen whether Honor has any desires on offering the Honor Power globally. While the presence of a quad-curved display was already apparent, Honor has now confirmed that this display will feature minuscule bezels and a pill-shaped punch hole for two front-facing cameras.
Meanwhile, Digital Chat Station suggests that the Honor Power will combine an 8,000 mAh battery and 80 W wired charging with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset that we tested last year during our Motorola Edge 50 Pro and HTC U24 Pro (curr. $619.99 on Amazon) reviews. As a result, it looks like the Honor Power will fall within Honor's mid-range segment rather than as a new flagship challenger. Other details about the Honor Power will likely surface online in the next few days before the device's official release.
